Replacing SL-1000 with RDO-194 in SDA 2

I've taken the plunge and bought new RDO-194 tweeters to replace the original SL-1000 in my SDA 2. Could someone here walk me through the best way to go about widening the speaker holes and filling in the screw holes. I'm fairly handy with and likely have available the power equipment and hand tools required.
I'd appreciate not being told to look through the archives, unless you can suggest a link that might help. I have gone through 20+ pages over the last few days, but was unable to find any info pertinent to my project (other than replace your SL-1000 with RDO-194).
Thanks for the help.

You just need a router and will have to adjust it onsite. Using a make shift jig is best since it will give you better lines. As far as the screw holes go, you'll simply drill new ones. It's not a hard project, if you have tools, which is why you probably won't find much on it.
There isn't really a one size fits all method for doing this as it will vary a little between each loudspeaker and you'll have to judge for yourself whether you're going up down or otherwise with the new mounting plate. I'd fill in the old holes with wood epoxy or filler.
Good luck.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
dorokusai, thanks a lot. I assumed it wouldn't be particularly difficult, but nice to have some instructions rather than just wing it.
