Yes - according to Tom Nousaine, the Velo 12" was one of the few subs in that price range that had true extension into the low 20 Hz range."What we do in life echoes in eternity"

Is there a way to find out?Panasonic TH-50PX80U Plasma HDTV
Polk Audio RT800i (fronts)
Polk Audio CS400i (center)
Polk Audio F/X1000 (side surrounds)
Polk Audio RTi6 (back surrrounds)
Velodyne CHT-15 (subwoofer)
Yamaha RX-V1400 (Pre/Pro)
NAD C272 (2-ch Amp)
Adcom GFA-7605 (5-ch Amp)
Toshiba SD-3109 (DVD/CD player)
Malata DVP-580 (Multi-region DVD player) -
Other than doing a sweep in room, try the website or do a search for reviews and see if someone else tested it. I would imagine in probably digs into the low 20's as well."What we do in life echoes in eternity"

yes the cht 12 or ct120 is one of the better subs for the price besides svs and diy.
if i was not so good at diy i would have went with a seccond ct120 for added bass.
the olny thing the velo is very stiff when you first get it and it takes a week or to get it to realey thump.
