Audiophiles,

I need your help. I have a 12x 12 room that I am attempting to change to a theatre room.
Questions:

I Am thinking on running 2x rc55i flush mounts as rear surrounds, two tsi-100 for the front or possibly rc55i if you think better, CS10 or Cs20 for the front center, and a Psw111 or psw10 subwoofer which every you think is better given the speakers I have chosen above????

I havn't picked out a receiver yet but I was thinking something along the lines of an onkyo or a yamaha, but I think the wattage I need for the speakers will decide which receiver I need to get.

So can you help?

I guess my question is which of the above will pair together the best and give me great quality? I have a 1080p epson 8350 projector and a fixed mount screen that will finish off the system.

Greetings and Welcome to Club Polk.

What kind of budget do you have for the audio portion of the system you are considering?

Can you tell us a bit more about your room layout?

And do you plan on using your setup mostly for movies, or do you plan on 'serious' listening for music as well?

H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.

I'd like to be around 350-450 for the receiver.

Mainly movie watching or sporting events. The room is 12 x12, the screen will be on an interior wall and the back wall is an interior wall. Sheet rock has been removed and insulation added to help with noise escaping.

I know a local polk dealer who will give me the speakers at cost, but I'd like to stick with the speakers I have picked out because of the prices we have already worked out but changes can be made. The room is small so I dont want to overkill, but I want it to feel like I am apart of the movie. Movies are mostly blu-ray via a ps3.
