MonsterXP ?

I went to circuit city the other day and picked up some some Fxi30's ($80 each) and the Velodyne 10" sub ($300).
My question is: Is MonsterXP wire a good cable selection? I was gonna put banana plugs on the ends also. Maybe even bi-wire the powered front towers I got.
btw: The **** at CC wouldnt give me a deal on the wires when I bought the speakers. Does anyone know a good place online that has good prices on speaker wire?

As far as Monster cable goes, there seems to be some sort of a price fixing going on. I see the cable for the same price, no matter where it is sold (online or retail). I also just picked up the FXi30s at CC. What a good deal, huh? Are you going to hang them on the wall? If so, do you plan on running them in the wall?

XP is good wire. There's better out there that could be had for less, but don't sweat it. If you're looking for wire for your new surrounds, I'd go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a spool. For the same price, you could probably get a longer length, thicker, or both, without compromising.
I'd go with bare wire. Then again, I usually go with bare wire.Make it Funky! -
The Fxi30's are gonna be mounted on stands. I figure the wall mounting will be a pain in the butt to try to hide wires.
Also, if I put them on stands they can be at seating position height and can be adjusted easily for listening pleasure.
The stands I seen at CC are complete junk. Its all compressed particle board they charge a rip off price for them ($80/pair). Im going to make my own since they are a simple design from oak.
I'll definintely post pics of them when im done.Danny V
