I Finally got my Rti10's how i like them!
So ive been trying to get more bass out of my Rti10's since i bought them 6 months ago,and i finally did it..:) I have a Pioneer SC-25 thats puts out 140W and that wasnt enough for these power hungry speakers, so i purchased a Amp Adcom 7500 that 150W per channel, and that still wasnt enough juice for the Rti10's bottom 2 "7" inch woofers to dig deep..Well, today i was thinking why cant i just combined the back Surround inputs on the Adcom 7500 with the front channel inputs on the amp with a y adaptor and run another speaker wire to the top terminal on the Rti10's and use the surround terminals on my SC-25 for the surrounds speakers..Well i did just that, and NOW i have 300W pushing the Rti10's, 150W for the tweeter and mid and 150W for the bottom 2 7inch woofers..and now the speakers came alive! Played some "Rage against the machine" and i couldnt beleive how good they sounded.i turned off my bass boxes to just play in stereo mode, there was so much more bass, nice and tight...So, Rti10 owners..feed these babys and you will get the sound there suppose to put out..
