    Ouch! Yeah, that would mess up my day, too.
    I would bet that the "pros" are more likely to be able to drive a stick... The would-be thieves in this case were clearly amateurs.

    AA county ?? Sounds like City folk. Did you hear about the carjacking where the lady jumped out of the moving car in Rockville. I was the person that charged that guy.

    Yeah I went to the MSP barracks and they showed me the dash camera. Pretty wild stuff. They guy was a complete goof.

    Once I was in Steve's State of Arizona, a long weekend buisness trip/ relaxation type of thing. Rented a car right out of the airport, drove straight to Hotel, locked the doors, had dinner at the hotel and turned in for the night. Next morning, car is gone.

    The person at the car rental place was the only one who knew where I was staying. There's definately some shady stuff going on. They found the car 6 months later, south of the border of coarse, nothing missing,no damage, except the tires where swapped out for some P.O.S. tires.

    Funny and sad part of the scenario is the Pheonix doesn't have any cops in the police station. Say what ? Yeah, no cops. I cab it over to a cop station to make a report and had to wait for a cop to come back from patrol...4 hours later. This was 20 years ago so things may have changed by now. Been back many times but only rent a car outside the airport, cheaper anyway, without a hitch.

    Not the actual truck, but almost identical. My truck was cherry, inside and out. Still makes me sick thinking about it.
