For sale is a pair of Amperex 12AT7/ECC81 NOS tubes the date codes are Tk2-F2C2 made in France. These tubes are untested but guarnteed to be NOS.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    These are really nice sounding tubes. I have a couple pairs I use in my Dared sl2000a and the France made Amperex are every bit as good as those made in Holland, I can't tell the difference other than the Holland made Amperex are usually 25-30% higher in cost.

    Thanks for the info Brock. I have ten Sylvania black plate WC12AT7/ECC81 tubes that are used that I would part with for $5.00 each also if anyone is interested in getting a cheaper set of tubes.
