Lsi 9 in today. Purchased from Sound Distributers. Transaction was great will use them again. They answered 3 different E-mails same day, every time, answered the phone when I went to order.
Not having same luck with my speaker stands. Ordered from Stands and Mounts .com, same time I ordered my LSI's, Decided to go with the Plateau V-30. Shipment hasn't left the warehouse yet and it's supposedly "in stock". Needless to say not real thrilled with these guys so far. Had to run down to CC today and get a cheap pair of Omni Mounts.
First impressions are that they sound very similar to the RT800i's, very similar imageing. Of course a lot smoother, clearer highs, but I initially only had the LSI's hooked up with one set of wires. Have them Bi-wired now, and playing Immortal Beloved for a couple of hours to loosen them up a bit. I think it's definately time for a Pre/Pro. Any suggestions under $1000. The Outlaw is looking pretty good at $750...am looking for one that has good 2 channel strengths. Might initally just get a 2 channel Pre. Really crappy part is my wife is making me go out of town tomrrow for the whole weekend....Don't get to play with my toys. More input next week.

    Stuff,
Congrats on the upgrade! Glad your transaction went smoothly, I knew it would.;) As far as the Outlaw is concerned, go for it, if you don't like it they have an excellant return policy. Which amps are you looking at? I'm using my "old" Pioneer Elite M-10x 2 channel (100w x 2 into 4 ohms) for my 9's and they really work well together. My Anthem does all the processing.

Hey if you piss off the wife she just might make you stay home this weekend!!

    Again, Congrats & Enjoy!!

    Congrats Stuff,
Glad to hear your transaction with SD went well.. I went to their site and couldn't find Polk speakers anywhere, even did a search and nothing... Did they take the serial numbers off the LSi's??? What wire are you using for Bi-wiring??

Hey Paul, you need to call SD to order the LSI line. Yes they did change the serial #, but it looks fine. If you read on their site in the warrenty area they explain their reason for changing the #'s. Being that they warrent the product, they have their own warrenty #'s on the speakers. Makes sence on some level.
Played a lot of live music on these things last night, I think that's where these speakers really shine so far.......Playing Diana Krull Live in Paris, you could hear the parts inside the piano moving as she was playing...Pretty awsome.

As far as wires, have the Kimber 4tc on the Highs and the Monsters on the Lows.

Stuff - Diana Krull? Is she in that bad movie from the 80's? Krull? Just kidding, ;)

Glad to hear they are performing well. It is always nice to have new speakers.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
