Marantz SR-8200 upgrade

Well I was wondering if any of you have any opinions about this upgrade available for my Marantz SR-8200 receiver

"The upgrade for the SR8200 is $200 and it can only be performed by us for the time being.

The upgrade includes both hardware and software upgrades:

* DTS 96/24
* Circle Surround 6.1 aka CSII (most people don't realize this, but CSII is a real surround format. ABC, ESPN, etc broadcast in Circle Surround and we decode it).
* Improved RS232c software - or future upgrades and for better control with custom automation products such as Crestron and AMX
* Much faster auto detection thru the digital inputs
* Other improvements that you can't see, but improve the performance of the unit."

Now the faster auto detection thru digital inputs is what I really want. This receiver can take 3-4 SECONDS to get audio playing from a digital input. Yeah, that really sucks so getting this fixed would be great but it appears you need to dish out the $200. So is the rest worth $200? Any opinions would be appreciated. DTS 96/24 could be but I really don't know what that means.

Now I really like this receiver, and may end up buying an external amp since I'm running 4 ohm speakers and the marantz seems to handle them ok but you know there is nothing like a good amp for 4 ohm speakers (sorry not polks)
