That guy has smoked WAY too much pot.
It was tough getting chicks that were willing to give lap dances for 28 minute jams. And the only girls that would agree to dance wouldn’t shave. Anywhere.

Ugh, no wonder it closed so fast.

That is the funniest thing I have ever heard. I'm with you on the 28 minute lap dance, I didn't read anything after that. Sugaree and Touch of Grey, classic.

Girls with Jerry Garcia beards come to mind, stinking of patchouli and BO.
    Nasty.

Well...ok...there are some GD songs that you could strip to I suppose. Sugar Magnolia...Sugaree, Good Lovin', Scarlet Begonias, Fire On the Mountain...However...I couldn't really picture a girl stripping to a 40 minute performance of Dark Star or The Other One...lol

If there really was a GD themed strip club, I'd probably check it out.

The guy is a DEAD-HEAD. Your statement seems redundant:biggrin:

I'm 40 and did about the same amount of Dead shows in my teens before Jerry Garcia died. They were great but I was mainly there for other things. While never anything but a yuppie Deadhead, when he died everyone was lost for some reason then eventually gravitated towards Phish when they became a solid entity. That music and experience lost all flavor for me. I haven't listened to a Dead song since and probably wouldn't unless it gets remastered or MFSL'd. But then again, that's taking the magic out of the performances since it was always about the live feeling. There are so many tapers and traders from those days that any performance you want is available, which is not something you can say for probably any other band....really. In that respect, very cool.

The strip club idea was about as smart as the dreadlocked, smelly white dude who wanted to sell me the "Nutri-Cookie" from his poncho back in the 80's. Pfffft, I'm a professional, music lover and here for the experience not your cookie sir!!!

I ate that cookie. It was delicious from what I recall afterwards.

I still like 'em... but I am older and more foolish than "the other Mark" :-P
Heck, I actually bit the bullet for Sirius in my Fiesta to listen to the Dead channel (I wouldn't admit that just anywhere).

The older part I won't argue with you Mark but the foolish would probably be more applicable on my end than yours. You're the wise, knowledgeable, vintage audio poster child while I'm the psuedo-intellectual, vaguely intuitive, USPS bulletin board poster child.

Speaking of that 63 YO lap-dancer in post 18... her name would be Moonbeam, or Truth, or Beauty, or Butterfly, or Jasmine or something like that...
