I am a firm believer in crap in crap out. I am interested in what are some of your best sounding CDs are. Doesn't have to be a favorite, but what sounds awsome on your systems?

Well - there was an attempt to start an "official" demo thread for best sounding tracks:

Feel free to add to it if you have your own favorite!
H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music. -

I always liked listening to Morphine's album "Cure for Pain" on my stereo. I don't know what it is about that music, but as "mellow" as it is, it just sounds great.Shawn

Haven't listened to Marvin Gaye for quite a while. Will check it out. Another is Clapton's "Pilgram" real bassy (if that's a word) yet clean. will give your PRO 500 a workout in 2.1

It's in the Way That You Use It
I don't often run the Polk DSWPro 500 because I run the RTi A9's full range (LARGE) on the Pure setting in 2 channel which allows me to keep my EQ. Pure Direct take away my EQ so I don't use it as much unless I'm listening to newer music.Fronts: Polk RTi A9

Clapton rules! Sounds like you already know that. If you have not seen the Music DVD "A Benefit for the Crossroads Centre at Antigua" it is worth getting. Sheryl Crow (hot), David Sanborn, Bob Dylan and Mary J. Blige (not so good) share the stage with him at times.
Great sounding Music DVD
