Thanks for all the information Joe08867 and mhardy6647, I will have these in hand Friday and will let you know how they sound. The Nakamichi is a T2-2A and is one of my favorite receivers, I don't know if it's a good fit for the EV's

Yes, that Nakamichi is well worth a try, as I believe it has the Nelson Pass/Threshold "Stasis" circuitry. Nelson Pass, like Paul W. Klipsch before him, well appreciates the importance of that "first watt" :-)
