dangerboy's fav driver

Stewart-Haas Racing got the 'ol 1, 2 today!!! I thought for sure Smoke had it, but I'll be happy for both of them

Louden NH is a great track, racing like the old days, and the pit crew had everything to do with how things turned out, even McMurray's crew holding up handmade signs 'SAVE FUEL' Hehe, too funny!

brgman, the #99 shrine stays up till Smoke wins, I think I found the right Juju of flag formations, in the house and on the porch

Glad to see Smoke coming back a little and building some momentum. Hasnt been looking that good this season and isnt even in the chase as of now. Hope he can rack up a couple wins in the next month or so.

Ryan is a thinking mans driver, the dude has 5 engineering degrees, He knows his s**t!! Smoke knew all that and picked him special for a teammate

WTF about Carl going to Gibbs......?? Toyota, damn suicide if ya ask me!! I won't burn the flag, my roomie loves Carl too much, it's his call...Tony was dying with that Toyota crap, that's why he started Stewart-Haas, getting crap cast-aways from Hendricks MS! He sure showed then today!! Rockin' good performace from the Chevy's , The Jr. Nation took some big hits, he was all over the place...took out the 'Shrub' Kyle Hehe!

No, Kyle is as good as Pearson. Didnt you hear that he's won 100 races?

What a joke. The dude races in every Nationwide and truck series race there is and wins almost every one. Thats like Lebron James playing in a high school league and adding those stats to his NBA stats. Drives me crazy.

Carl Edwards is going to win a championship. Hes just too good not to. If Chad Knauss ever retires or they change up the last 10 races so Jimmie wont win every year, Edwards will be in the mix and eventually he'll break thru.

I dont think Newman is good enough to ever win a championship though. I like the guy and think he's really good but I just dont think he's got that little extra itll take to win the whole thing.

Way to go Ryan, And how about that 1-2 finish for Stewart-Haas?

The problem with Stewart-Haas is the same thing hampering Hendrick. They missed something this year so far but hopefully this starts them in the right direction. They were pretty dominant all day.

As far as KB goes, the kid can drive his butt off. He has matched Mark Martin for wins in the Nationwide series in less time than it took Mark. That alone lets you know KB is the real deal.

If I didn't already have a favorite driver (Tony) I would probably be his biggest fan. He just needs to get a little more seasoning and he will be contending for championships.

Aw Joe, the 'shrub' can drive, I'll give him that, but nobody can touch Smokie, he has more title's than anyone alive today, I loved how he drove Hamilton's F1 ride , sorry, I prattle on...Tony is just the best out there, and he has a heart of Gold...he's been a bit pissy lately on the blocking issue, kudo's to him for that!

On the live feed, he said "Keep that redhead away from me!!! about Vickers coming up on him at the last few laps, gotta love it!! He loves Brian, but....

I hope he gets the goods for the Chase, but I'm 'appy with him having fun on the track like only he does

btw, Go Carl!!! Hehe, the nicest guy you ever wanted to wreck!!!

Tony is the man. Spinning Vickers that early didn't help him at the end of the race though. I just wish he had spun JPM. Got I really don't like him. Never liked him in F1 and certainly don't like him in NASCAR.

Normally I dont like **** like JPM but since NASCAR has gotten all milk toast and all the drivers are perfect corporate spokesmen and basically boring as crap to watch, I like guys like Montoya, Stewart and Harvick. I even like Kyle Busch because he's fun to watch. NASCAR has loosened the reigns on these guys the last couple season as theyve seen their ratings and attendance drop by a pretty good bit.

I agree it has gotten somewhat milk toast.

Although I don't agree on the numbers. Actually if you really look at the numbers TV increased in the last two seasons since Boys Have At It. And attendance is bad at certain tracks because the economy is depressed in those areas. Every sport out there is in the toilet attendance wise. It is called a bad economy.

The only major sports that are down right now are NASCAR and baseball in both the ratings and attendance. NFL and NBA are all doing pretty good. Granted NASCAR fans are more blue collar and are more susceptible to a down economy than the typical NBA and NFL attendee.

Either way, they're definitely on the track by making things a little more exciting. Now if they'd just fix the "car of tomorrow" piece of crap that has degraded the quality of the races.

Nascar has shot themselves in the foot by having ticket prices and everything else Nascar related go thru the roof.Greed basically.
Now they want to offer us poor shlubs $20 tickets when they were $90 2 years ago because they are fan friendly and feel our pain.RIGHT.
My son and i have watched the decline of the "friendliness" of this sport and moved over to NHRA.
We use to hit at least 5 or 6 races a year and now we only do both Richmonds. And we may drop the spring race. The rest of our time and money goes to drag racing.Your money goes alot farther and it doesn't have the holier than thou attitude that Nascar has.I remember in '85 in Sonoma walking into the pits without a soul caring. Now you want in the pits you pay $100 and get treated like a sheep. You want to meet a driver you better donate a kidney or something.
At the NHRA races i can walk up and talk to John Force,Tony Schumacher,Kenny Bernstein, etc like he's my next door neighbor.Every ticket is a pit pass and every driver is glad to have you there supporting them.
And as far as racing intensity-8,000 hp x 2 coming off the line and you NEVER know whose going to win.Too many variables and no "family" making the calls.Caution for a gatorade bottle but not for a 14 car pileup because "we want to let em race".Gimme a break.
None of this crap week after week about JR and Gordon and Old 5 time JJ.Ohh JR broke a friggin fingernail or Johnson had a pit crew that wasnt perfect.
How can we go on?!?! I may slit my wrists.

brgman you're a hoot , I still go to a race if I can afford it, I have to drop about $300 at the 'trucks' for goodies, especially the fall PHX race when drivers change teams or sponsers, they dump merchandise for a buck for a hat or t-shirt

PHX Firebird Raceway is a blast...Drag Boats in the desert!!! Monsters they are, my first top-fuel experience, I was covered in goosebumps, and the older lady next to me said "It's your first time isn't it?" I just nodded and  Too Cool
