Hi guys, I as some of you know have finally resolved my h/t -vs-2 chl systems and certain devices do share some duties, example, the Denon cdp ,internet radio ,and the Yamaha dock which do play both systems at seperate times. Todays question is ,my Klipsch center was on a lower shelf on my tv stand. After all the problems were resolved I just wondered if I moved the center up 2 rows closer to the tv. Well to my surprise there is no concernable difference AT ALL.I do remember that you guys told me that the centers do some heavy lifting and do the most of the work. With saying that isn't being closer to the tv a better position? Also just today I woke up and tried to put on my tv and nothing. I got audio out of the optical but no video,so I called Toshiba and they said if your getting meues and inputs on screen it is not the tv. So in the past w/ Cablevision if one was to change channels you could lose all video picture,so I powered down waited a few minutes and viola we have picture.Suficit to say I moved my cable box so it can breath easier and now my center is raised up 2 rows in my tv stand/rack.
Any of you guys ever have trouble like this before, I know we discussed the delay in the handshake but this was a totall blackout.....LW

Center channel should go above or below the TV. Done deal, that easy. You can use both locations if your running dual centers.

I used to run one CSi40 below and one CSi40 above the TV in a previous HT setup. It worked really nice. The lower one was pointed at my listening chair and the upper one pointed at the couch in the back of the room. I got really nice center channel dispersion in the room. My current setup doesn't let me do that with the LSiC's. I'll be running them side-by-side when I move in a couple of months.
