Package deal on an entry-level Tube Headphone set up

Antique Sound Labs.....MG HEAD OTL.....it runs 1 - 12ax7 and a pair of - el84's...They are JJs...These are worlds better than the chinese crap it came with! I bought this amp from madmax, probably 3-4 years ago..I doubt if I put more than 20 hrs on it..Chuck used it very little as well..
It sounds great! I just never user it...It does look good in the rack..

Grado SR125...very lightwieght and detailed...very low time on these as well..


$265 for the package plus shipping CONUS...I will email pics to those interested..Having trouble downloading...

Going to Ireland next month need to move some stuff I don't use

could u use this to boost a ipod touch's output going into a pre amp? so it had more drive. whats the wattage on this

That would not be a recommended application of this amp. There are no preamp outputs, the only output is the headphone output. I'm sure it would boost the volume, but you'd likely run into gain issues and it would be tricky to get sounding right without introducing extra noise.

There are other products on the market like the docks that bypass the DACs in the iPods taht would be better suited for the task at hand.

This is a wonderful amp guys (I have one), great price on this setup.

Does the headphone stand come with it? I was looking for a starter headphone rig. Very tempting...

The great thing about this amp is it's versatility. You can run something like those Grado cans right off the OTL output, but if you step into a less efficient headphone like the Senns or BeyerDynamic you can use the transformer output - this amp really mates well with alot of different headphones.
