First of all, lets keep this thread a positive one.

I have a lot going on right now so I'm taking a very extended break from this hobby, but thanks to all of your suggestions I went out with a BANG!

I bought a Tube Integrated, the Onix SP3 MKii. I sorted out a few issues and got the correct tubes in the mail. Although I'm getting it checked out by a professional Monday morning, I fired it up with the new tubes anyway (you know you would have too) and let it run for an hour. Everything worked perfectly. I just finished spiking my SDA-2B TL's today as well (special shout out to inspiredsports for helping me with this, and others who kept pushing me to spike em' up).

I was absolutely FLOORED by the sound coming out of my 2B's. Unbelievable. The spikes tightened everything up. Low-end definition is much improved. Everything is less muddy. What a sweet little tweak.

As for the tube integrated. Just wow. Lush, rich, bodied, non-fatiguing, and euphoric. I don't know what it is about this integrated, but it's giving me everything I ever dreamed of having and more. (special thanks to edoggrc51 for the suggestion).

I'm totally satisfied through and through with this system. Of all the combo's that have come on gone, it was all worth it to get me here. I've learned a lot, made a ton of mistakes, but I've arrived at something that I can't find a single thing I'd like more of (starting to sound like a graduation speech LOL).

Let me be clear, a big thank you to all of you who have helped!

I could care less what people think of you or your posts.
You had some KILLER equipment that needed a new home!
    Its as simple as that.
Killer equipment that anyone would have been thrilled (dreamed) to have!
But there was a group of dumba$$'$ that totally STOMPED on those for "for sale" threads (high school $hit) because of prior posts!
    So what?
Just curious of what prior posts have to do with finding some KILLER equipment a good home?
I make an **** of myself everyday on here!
Could care less what people think!

Glad you got them spiked. Makes a big difference. So by "taking an extended break" does this mean you are storing or selling your gear? You were going to sell a SS integrated amp awhile back (can't remember the brand) and I'm looking for one for a tertiary rig I'm setting up.

Spikes are an awesome tweak. Now you know why the best speakers always have spikes pre-installed.

Glad the Onix is OK. Hope the tech feels the same way.

Where did you get the spikes? They are pretty sharp looking on those loudspeakers. Hopefully you'e not touching or trying to fix anything in your rig, lest it blow up, melt or stop functioning today.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
