FXi50 rear surrond speakers

I just recently got a pair of FXi50's for my rear surrounds. The directions said one of the speakers would be labled to indicate which was supposed to be the 'left' rear surrond speaker. Neither of my speakers had such an indication. How do I tell which speaker should be left vs right?

Once on the wall, the midbass driver should face forward (if mounted on the side walls)

If you set them in front of you, with the terminals facing AWAY. The speaker with the midbass on the LEFT is the RIGHT rear, vice versa.

Do they not have and L or R in the serial number?

    Cheers,

Yeah, the serial number has the 'L' and 'R' in it. I should have seen that, but was too excited with my new purchase, I guess.......in addition to other distractions.

My speakers (RTi70's, FXi50's, and CSi40) were delivered on a Thursday at 3:30pm. I had just hooked up the RTi70's to my receiver and was listening to them for 30 min. when the power went out. I checked my fuse box in the basement and everything was ok. Got in my car to head to Home Depot to get some drywall anchors for the FXi50's. Was listening to the radio and heard that Detroit, parts of Canada, etc. were without power. It was the recent NE blackout. Wow, I think it was me that took out the NE power grid (hahahahaha). Unfortunately, I had to wait 12hrs for the power to come back to try out my new purchase... :-(.

    Thanks for the help.
