heading to vancouver this week

Hey I know we have a few Canadians on here.. any particular restaurants or bars/clubs we should check out while we are there? The wife and I are staying at the Sheraton Wall Center and will be limited to walking and public transportation.

    Vancouver is great place. Unfortunately my work related trips were short and busy so I always stick around the Hotel area. However, great place for eating fresh fish (I love halibut steak). Steaks are the best you can find in Canada (the west has the best quality beef). For light lunch, the small sandwich chinese place are great. I don't recall being ever disappointed when it came to food.

    Your lenght of stay, your budget and exactly what you wish to do would be of great help. Fongolio seems to be the only BC active members nowadays, maybe you should PM him?
