i just installed my 5th SB! main system, pool/patio, MBR, office and garage..i love these frkn things! a neat trick is the syncronize function..

I'm trying to imagine where to put 5. I have my main one in the living room. I can use it as a source on Zone 2 to play outdoors( used 99% of the time this way). I'm very happy with the SB touch, very nice unit.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

i used my main with a bullfrog wireless device for the pool/patio...it picked up too much noise and i had to point the remote 20 feet away thru a sliding glass door...i like this set up now:cool: -

do you know if the Touch has the capability to control an IR blaster yet? I really like that feature on my SB3s, but one of them seems to be getting ready to die, so I might be looking for a touch to replace it soon.

Answering my own question. The answer is not yet.
I just checked the relevant bugs for this on bugs.slimdevices.com and it looks like it might be targeted for the 7.6.0 version of squeezebox server (or whatever they are calling it this week). If you want to vote for the bug it is # 12997. -

that's the one...worked ok..picked up noise..enough to be an occasional annoyance...if my wife was heating up some nachoes in the micro, the noise was so bad i had to turn off the tunes..
i sound like a winer, a bit?? i likes my music loud & clear:biggrin:
