I've just received this advertisement in my gmail account, might be of interest to some?
At the same time, if the TT gurus has anything to recommend in the 200$ in the sale advertisement I would appreciate as I am a bit reluctant with all the plastic and chinese toys. I could use some pointers and advices to make me feel more comfortable about the product especially that I realize my target budget is rather low.

Sorry if anyone feels it should have been posted elswhere (IE: deals of the day) as I wanted to give it as much exposure as possible while the sale last for the best of Polkies that might be interested. If out of place, feel free to move elswhere.Above are items that we're selling at discounts for various reasons. Some have open boxes, some are demo models, some are returns, and some have simply been in the store for too long. Note that some returns are used as demo products. We pride ourselves on selling factory-fresh merchandise, but when we ship an open box or demo model, we ascertain that the products are fully inspected, and that our customers are compensated for purchasing an item with a broken seal. Sincerely, The Needle Doctor Team

As far as TT's in that link, mostly USB crap, steer clear! In your price range, look around Craigslist in your area, find a working rig, you'll be much happierThorens TD125MKII, SME3009,Shure V15/ Teac V-8000S, Denon DN-790R cass, Teac 3340 RtR decks, Onix CD2...Sumo Electra Plus pre>SAE A1001 amp>Martin Logan Summit's

+1. If you make some connections and look around you can find a great TT. I saw a rega P3 with wood trim for less than your budget in CO. Granted it was 80s vintage but it good condition will blow away all the entry level TTs available today and would pay 400+.
You most likely need a cart. You have a Phono stage?Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

Thanks thsmith, the rega turn tables seems to come up frequently as a good choice here at CP so hopefully I can see them at the above store.DARE TO SOAR:

One more place for you to keep tabs on, Innovative Audio in Surrey B.C.
I can give these folks a major recommendation. the stock varies daily, and their VaCa time is coming up, so things might have to wait. They know how to ship TT's and you get a warranty. I can give you several refs of their happy customers. The owner would be happy to keep an eye out for a TT that suit's you.

Not unless those stores sell used gear.
The older Rega's with the wood trim are nice and tweakable.
In you price range I think you will get more TT for money used.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
