Need help with my PSW300 rattle!

Hey all,
I have browsed through a few of the older threads covering PSW300 problems and repairs. My 300 has the familiar rattle, and I have had it in storage for awhile, but now I finally have the time to repair it. So I was just looking from a little guidance from those who have been down this road!
For starters, what is the best way to open up this puppy? I see screws going up through the leg pegs, and on the amp of course. Which is my best starting point?
Then, does anyone have any advice for attempting the "spider-glue" repair method, or opting for a new driver? The box is in great shape and she worked perfectly until I must've over-extended her limit watching Underworld a few years back...
This brings me to my most urgent inquiry, I just stumbled upon this driver from a PSW202 which I have heard works great in the 300 with minor fitting mods. I have also heard that these mods are a little more that "minor" and can be frustrating! Here is the link to the ebay auction, but it ends today!: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150630593426&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I have also found a good selection of near OEM spec drivers from a seller named "mavin". here is one of his that I was looking at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Thanks for looking, please help if you can!
