csi3 to csi5 should I even bother?
I just upgraded the monitors to the rti series
I wanted the 5 but the little package deal i got was with the 3
on the spec page it doesnt seem like much of a difference between the two speakers.....
should i bother upgrading to the 5?

In short, unless u got rti4s yes it will make a pretty big difference. Voices will be clearer with more depth, and effects will be better anchored to the screen. Having said that( the upgrade.from the cs1 to the csi3 is pretty big, so u may find that ur happy. Try out the csi3 first before you decide.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

CSI5 would be better, but good luck finding one. They only pop up here every once in a while. CSi3 can be found pretty easy online new or used though. Sound with the CSi3 will be provide less of a sound stage but it is still a solid speaker and will mate well with your setup.

I upgraded from a CSi3 to a Csi5 and was very impressed with the difference.. well worth it to me.. I couldn't get rid of the CSi3 fast enough.. it is quite a bit larger though.. so make sure you have room for it

Can you please elaborate a bit more on what the perceived difference was ? What amp , source etc ? -

There are 3 listed in Polk's ebay store, so if your going to jump then I would suggest you go for it ASAP. Available in both colors also. You should notice the difference as others have. Bigger center as mentioned but it does sound very good on all sources especially gaming. I power mine with a Sunfire TGA 5200 with no issue; excellent clarity.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
