What to do?

After repairing my SDA 1C's, I decided to upgrade my turntable to a new Rega P3-24. I ordered it last week, and found out today that Rega had already announced it's immediate replacement in the new upgraded RP3 days before I had ordered mine. I'm fine with the P3-24, I heard it before and it's a proven design. I do think that they should have told me it was replaced by a new model. I haven't spoken to the dealer yet about it. What do you all think I should do?:frown:

Thanks!!!

I would find it hard to believe there is no stock on the old model if that is what you had your hopes on. Is it more money? If so, maybe you guys could strike a deal. Turntable sales are probably not through the roof these days.

Nor have there been any leaps in turntable design over the last thirty years or so. See if you can get a little discount and then don't sweat the small to non-existent stuff.

If you did get a good price on the one your getting, that would be good for starters. Then you can compare the price difference from older model to new.
If you didn't get a discount to begin with, what, if any, is the price difference . Did the newer model increase in price or the same as your model? If it's the same, contact your dealer and talk it out.

Good luck and I think you'll be alright with however this turns out.
    Nice turntable either way!
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
