I was somewhat skeptical about paying the $26.95 to upgrade from MC 15 to MC 16 but on my system I did notice some improvement. Nothing night and day, but a noticeble improvement on my better recordings. MC 16 is cleaner sounding, has improved resolution, and is more transparent than the previous version. They replaced the 32 bit audio engine with a 64 bit engine and added a volume disable setting which makes sure you are sending a completely unchanged signal to a DAC or receiver and are using the outboard device for volume control.

Anyone else try MC 16?

    Yes I'm a user and really like it and it has become my main music source.I can't comment on the differences between MC15 and 16 as a recent adoptor my only real experience is with MC16.
