How do you like it? does it work with iphone 4?

I have been thinking of getting a docking station for music and I have read good things about isonic 2

what is tagging? and how is tagging useful to me?

Tagging = "bookmarking" songs so that you can reference them later (i.e. for purchase)

    From http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107ISONIC2/Polk-Audio-I-Sonic-ES2.html?tp=44:
iTunes tagging — a new feature for iPod owners
Certain HD Radio stations will soon start including additional data to let you "tag" songs for convenient purchase through iTunes. As you're listening to one of these HD Radio programs, press the ES2's "Tag" button when you hear a song you like. This saves the song information (but not the song itself) to the system's memory. These tags automatically transfer to your iPod the next time you dock it to the I-Sonic. Sync your iPod to your computer, and your tagged selections appear as a list in iTunes for easy previewing and purchasing.

I just bought a refurbished one. Matter of fact, just started using it this morning. So far, so good. Sounds pretty good. Yes, it should work with your phone.

I think the documentation says that an iPhone has to be in airplane mode to play music when docked. Now I often find that the documentation for iPhone systems tend to be a little conservative (i.e., list restrictions that may not be absolute so that they are not liable if you run into a problem). Anybody have any experience using an iPhone with an iSonic?

the docking stations that i've tried have all said they are not compatible with iphone. only iPod's. but I see the isonic2 is software upgradeable.. so maybe if not iphone 4 supported now.. in the future?
