I got these perfectly operational babies in some kind of Klipsch "utility" type cabinet like Advent used to do. These are bare wood. These are not a kit, as they have all the tested by and inspected by stickers from the Klipsch factory. No dented/crunched corners.
Bare wood means that you can:
1. Staple Hendrix pictures all over the sides and tops. Backs too if they're going near windows.
2. Paint them day-glo orange, get a black light and go for it.
2.5 Do day-glo planets and shooting stars and stuff in ALL KINDS of day-glo colors, get a black light and be KotH.
3. Cover them in faux leopard skin.
4. Finish them like pirate chests.
5. American flag paint job.
$150 local pick-up only.
Yamaha CR-1020 receiver w/wood case. Just about mint. $200 local pick-up only.

UGH! You're killin' me George!
Can I bring my mini tube amp over and check out the Heresys? If they sound purty, I'll probably purchase them.Expert Moron Extraordinaire
You're just jealous 'cause the voices don't talk to you! -
Dang. Why can't you live about 3,000 miles WEST."I did not slap you. I high-fived your face."

Of the options given, I'd shoot for a combination of #1 and #2. These truly sound very interesting, too bad I don't live closer. :frown:

please put me next in line for the Heresy, George.

Excellent price George (local pick up or not)!
A friend of mine has the same model, same raw cabinets he bought in the early '80's.
I tried to talk him into taking the drivers/horns out and taking them to the local truck bedliner place to have them sprayed.
Speakers to last a lifetime!

If ever there were a definition for Vintage, this is it! And at fantastic prices! Hope one of you picks up those Klipsch.
I'd love a shot at the Yamaha myself. But am already locked into a '80 Pioneer. Oh well, if on the odd chance that that Yammie is still down there when I visit my sister in Pa. in early August I might swing by for it. Till then, one of you better pick this up and save me some coin. lol

Too many westerners.
John, that's a great idea, but I'd like to minimize my participation in the demonstration even further. Take them home and listen to them in your own house.
This is exhausting work. -
I could do that. You in a super rush to get rid of them or can it wait until Saturday morning?Expert Moron Extraordinaire

Saturday morning is fine, whether I'm here or not.

Yeah he did, and Tony Rome broke him off a substantial audio piece. HBR's from 1980.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.
