Daytime TV - yuck

So I was in the waiting room at my local auto repair place yesterday morning. They have the standard snacks, coffee and TV.

Well, they had Regis and the blonde chick (forget her name) on all morning and then after that there was Kathie Lee and Yoda (or some other weird name I can't recall either).
Holy crap. What torture to sit through that. I thought I was going to lose my mind.

People watch this stuff everyday??

Luckily my car was ready no too long after that and I got out of there. I've always been glad to be employed but this gives me another reason to be thankful I work during the day and do not have the risk of seeing this stuff on the tube.

Kind of agree with you there. We do not watch much television, however we do enjoy a few shows of course.

    Daytime TV is terrible.

TV in general on the other hand can be FANTASTIC, if you know how to filter. No different than movies. Don't watch the crap, find the good stuff, and you're golden.

Saying all TV is bad is like saying every movie ever made is bad. It's just ignorant.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

And the chicks name is Kelly Ripa, leave it to the most annoying man on TV to pick a more annoying co-host, after the drunken, broken down, makes children work in her sweatshops, washed up Kathy Lee

 I have tapes of that, when I can't sleep I pop one of those in...he's stepping up to the green now, putter in his right hand, the flag is barely moving on the pole, he's about 10 feet from the hole, and I see a slight rise on the green to the right, will he use that to get his birdy for par? For the love of God, only the fishing channel is worse....." Hey, It don't get no better than this Folks "

Kelly Ripa is stunning! I could watch her all day...on mute.

Besides, she's from Berlin, NJ and I had a boss who went to high school with her. She'd always come in to his store with her pops and say hi and blab for a bit. Extremely nice woman and even better looking in person. Her husband is a lucky dude.

Hell of alot better to watch than those horsetoothed jackasses Hoda and Kathy Lee.

I have known that daytime tv sucks since 1973. My grandmother was addicted to "As the World Turns" and my two little sisters took me through a combined ten YEARS of "Sesame Street" induced HELL!
