DIY Speaker Cables

I was inspired by slammin86's thread on DIY speaker cables, so I decided to make a similar pair! They're about 11' runs, quad-conductor 14AWG.
I made a couple changes though. I terminated each individual conductor and used stackable banana plugs so that I can use them for bi-wiring or bi-amping, or even a normal single-wire configuration. Also, I used cable boots from Parts Express. Those worked out quite nicely!
This was my first DIY audio project and I think I'm hooked. I'm considering doing a subwoofer cable next. Any suggestions?

Heat shrink can make anything look like a big dollar product. I love it!

All the heatshrink besides the smaller red stuff was fairly thick and adhesive-lined. I would definitely recommend that variety to DIYers, even if there is somewhat of a price difference. I think it looks better and makes quite a nice seal.My Stereo: Tannoy D100s, Yaqin MC-100B, VPI Traveler, Dynavector 10x5 MC Phono Cartridge, heavily modified Yaqin MS-22B phono preamp, TEAC EQA-20 equalizer, Belkin PureAV PF30 Power Conditioner, Canare 4s11 speaker cables, Custom dust cover from DigitalDeckCovers -
Care to post up the part numbers or links to the heat shrink and cable boots you used? That is assuming you got everything from PE.
I would like to clean up some of my speaker cabling and like what you have done. -

I got most of the stuff off of ebay but I'll try to get the information for you. The cable boots I bought from Parts Express through Amazon. I'm at work right now but I can get you the information this evening. My Stereo: Tannoy D100s, Yaqin MC-100B, VPI Traveler, Dynavector 10x5 MC Phono Cartridge, heavily modified Yaqin MS-22B phono preamp, TEAC EQA-20 equalizer, Belkin PureAV PF30 Power Conditioner, Canare 4s11 speaker cables, Custom dust cover from DigitalDeckCovers -

Nice work theta and Keiko! Since we are sharing here are some cables I made out of Canare 4S11 and GLS locking bananas. I made two ten foot sections and one 6 foot section. Had a blast making them and they sound great to me.

Awesome work, breal! I'm so glad that people are making their own cables. I found a great project, had a lot of fun and made a great improvement to my own system all because I happened to come across slammin's thread, so I'm really glad others are trying this out too because of my thread! My Stereo: Tannoy D100s, Yaqin MC-100B, VPI Traveler, Dynavector 10x5 MC Phono Cartridge, heavily modified Yaqin MS-22B phono preamp, TEAC EQA-20 equalizer, Belkin PureAV PF30 Power Conditioner, Canare 4s11 speaker cables, Custom dust cover from DigitalDeckCovers

Thanks theta. Like you I got the idea from slammin86, so thanks slammin for sharing! I was looking into making my own RCA's, but figured it was cheaper to go with the Bluejeans RCA's.

If you do go through with that please let me know how it goes!My Stereo: Tannoy D100s, Yaqin MC-100B, VPI Traveler, Dynavector 10x5 MC Phono Cartridge, heavily modified Yaqin MS-22B phono preamp, TEAC EQA-20 equalizer, Belkin PureAV PF30 Power Conditioner, Canare 4s11 speaker cables, Custom dust cover from DigitalDeckCovers
