Damn, these past few years have been littered with huge quakes.

The faults around the Pacfic plate have been very active with big shakers lately . If I lived around the Oregon/Washington/British Columbia coast I'd practice my evacuation plans with the family, better safe than sorry.

Interesting site that I visit 2-3 times a day:
    http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/

Up to date earthquake tracking across the earth...which rumbles, jiggles, and jumps allllll the time!

If you click on an earthquake of interest, additional up to date info is provided - for those in the Pacific, there may be tsunami info posted, then updates issued.

No sheet! And here I'm at the 25' seal level with a big sign right outside my tract that says "tsunami flood zone".

Promises, promises. As powerful as the Japanese earthquake was, it moved the coast what, 8 feet? Not too much cheaper there...
