Mixing CS2 with monitor 40s in front
I found a CS2 for dirt cheap and figured I'd give it a shot. I have a CS1 at the moment, but it actually feels a bit weak at times with dialog in movies. The CS2 is a more powerful speaker, which upsets the match between the fronts a bit, but as they appear to be part of the same family, it doesn't seem like it will sound out of place.
Should these speakers work well together?

It'll do fine, you should see an improvement over your cs1 too!
I'll also tell you that setting the crossover of the center at 80hz helped to clean up dialog on my system, try it if you need more clarity.Living Room 7.1 HT Rig:

They are both from the same line, have the same tweeter and crossover components, same build quality etc. the only difference is that the drivers in the cs2 are a little bigger. It should be a nice improvement overall!Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es
