2 subwoofer hookup

New to the forum and hoping I could get some advice on subwoofer hookups.

I have been putting together my home theater for the past 6 months; here is my current configuration.

Center: Polk cs1
Fronts: Polk moniter 60's
Rears: Polk moniter 30's
Current subwoofer: Polk psw10

I have a relatively large space for the living room and everything sounds great most of the time but occasionally the subwoofer is overtaxed and doesn't perform on par with the rest of the system. I recently ordered the PSW 505 to replace my old subwoofer but I would still like to use the PSW 10.

I plan on hooking up the 505 through the subwoofer output on my reciever and i have been toying around with the idea of running the rear channels through the psw 10 and then out to the 30's. Just curious about what everyone thinks about that configuration and I am definately open to any suggestions for other possible hookup options.

Thanks for any help!

Sounds like a great idea..IF....you set your receivers' rear speaker sizes to large so if there is bass, the psw10 will put that out and cut the bass from getting to your surrounds.

    Two subs is good!!
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I would leave like it is right now , just getting a Y splitter and run a cable

Personally, I'd sell the PSW10. I'm going to sell mine.....
