I have a 2000 lincoln town car and I want to create that awesome sound. Do you recommend sealed or Ported box for the best performance?

    Performance wise ported is going to be louder with the same amplifier power. If you want a lot of output and are not too worried about sound quality then used a ported box tuned to 38Hz. If you want the best of both worlds then use a box tuned to 30-32Hz. By using the lower tuning the bass response will be flatter and more even than the higher tuning and the bass extension will go lower. If you use a ported box use the SUBSONIC FILTER (30Hz) on the amp or you risk damaging the sub.
