Finally found some garage speakers!

They are alittle heavy at 2.5 tons ea., and alittle tall (12 ft) but they should sound good!:biggrin:

    how the heck did they end up with 2.5 tons ???

    What would be the biggest bummer if you bought them and your ceiling was to low .

    Or if you crazy enough to buy them :)

    Ive always thought these speakers would look much better without the stupid base... outriggers would be bitchin though

    Some of the weight is due to the big amplifiers you can see mounted in the bases (they are powered).

    At $500,000 a pair, only Troy can afford to buy a pair!:biggrin:

    I had a friend who did this last week and was mad to say the least. They didn't cost nearly what the ones in the picture do, but it's a rude awakening when your 7'10" speakers don't fit in your 8' room! :eek:

    I thought those were amps !
    well at that weight you wouldnt have to worry about them getting stolen !
