If he had all the drivers and no cabinets then maybe 700. and that would still be alot to invest in. Why do people trash their electronic sound systems??

Because they didn't pay for it maybe?

** purchaser will be responsible for ebay fees on this auction. at 5%

$700 for beat-up cabinets, AND he wants the purchaser to cover his eBay fees?
The seller is apparently deeply involved with illegal mind-altering drugs.

I wish that I could find more ebay auctions like this one as I can always use a good laugh. It looks like those speakers were left out in a natural disaster.

I'm not sure that lot is worth $70, but guess that is closer than $700.

Seeing these pics is kinda sad, they look neglected and crash is right, look like they were left out to the elements. He will never get 700 for them.

They look like they were left in the dark area of the basement for the last ten years.

Those are in too good of condition for me. I'll only buy them if he takes a sledge hammer to them first... Then they'd be perfect for firewood.

But local pickup is offered. That certainly sweetens the pot.

Fellas...with all the shop skills all of you have I'm surprised no one's bought this starter set and mills and sonic-capped and soldered them to death. Then refinished the cabinets with 6 coats of poly and deadened the cabinets with some of that especially 'dense' black foam? And don't forget the Dynamat.

For the DIY crowd this is a steal at $700! And if you think I'm 'serious', good luck with that!

I wouldn't give him $50 for them, I would rather spend $200-$300 for a nice set..
