Recommendation for Back Surrounds
Hello all,
Looking for some recommendations for a pair of rear surrounds. I currently have the LSiC, LSi9 for mains, LSi7 for left/right surround and I hate to admit but my current back surrounds are Bose 301's (xmas present from the wife). I will putting them up for sale to help finance the new ones.
I have been looking at the FXi A6/A4's and wondering what you guys thought about them? I mostly listend to music but also like to watch movies in 7.1. The current amp I have that will driving them is an Adcom 7605 rated at 125 wpc.
Thanks
Dan

I have been looking at the FXi A6/A4's
An excellent choice.Political Correctness'.........defined

Get the A6/A4 and use them for surrounds in di-pole mode and move your LSI 7's for back surrounds.
Generally di-poles work great for surrounds and direct radiating are best for back surrounds. This the way I have my 7.1 system configured and it sounds great. My back surrounds are spaced about 6' apart. -
I would go with LSI F/X's so they are timber matched to the rest of your LSI speaker lineup. And as said before move your regular LSI's to the rear and use the LSI F/X's as side surrounds.AVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808

Thanks. Would there be a noticeable difference between the FXi and LSiFX since all mine are the LSi series?Brains: Marant 7701

I don't know. Guys say that the surrounds dont nessessarly have to match the front sound stage, but I would get them just so they would.AVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808

I absolutely love my LSi FX. I'm using them as my computer speakers until I install them in their permanent place as HT surrounds in the future.Do you hear that buzzing noise?
