Was really looking forward to this DVD release. I just read a review that says Warner Home Video did a bad job on the transfer.
According to the review, the film wasn't cleaned up much at all with dirt & dust specks prominant thoughout. Also said the film itself shifts and jumps at times with color shifts and edge enhancement.
Apparently the audio is not the greatest also. Yeah, it's a movie from the late 60's, but others older than that have been done much better.
DAMN, I really wanted this one! I'll have to pass on it.
Anyone checks it out and finds out otherwise that it's good, let us know.

do they remaster the sound track on DD 5.1 or just the original mono sound track? I really love this movie

I just ordered it from DVD Planet. The sound is 5.1. I will be really pissed if the movie was done poorly. It should come Sat. or Mon. I will let you guys know what I think.
