I'm pretty damn impressed with Tom and him doing a stunt like this....himself. Go to the bottom video.

He didn't have all those extra cables in the movie :)

I saw it last week. Good movie. I'd recommend it.

I haven't seen it myself, but my sister said she enjoyed it very much. This is a person who wasn't impressed by any movie from James Bond to Private Ryan....and least of all, Tom Cruise.

Saw the movie at the local IMAX. It was awesome. Way more action than previous films and a pretty good story line considering its just a blockbuster action movie. My wife and I both agree that we would pay $30 to see the movie at IMAX again.

i saw it last week and can say that after the first one it is the best one (if not the best one) i thought it was much much better than mi2 and mi3, which i did not like.

a little bit of exageration on the effects at a point or two but me an my wife really really enjoyed it.

Tom Cruise takes what sounds to be some seriously awful hits . . . slamming into metal beams, door frames and even a car. Of course, he gets up and walks away from most of it with nothing but a few bruises, but everybody in the audience shrieked and yelped "oh !@#$" because it really looks and sounds terribly painful. Cool FX. Fun ride.

Saw it and thought it was boring and lifeless, just like #2, no where near the caliber of #3. Really, a story that's been told over and over since the 80's...seriously? With a story so boring and action sequences short and un-engaging I walked out feeling like I wasted my time and money.

We saw it yesterday, it was an excellent movie, right up there with the first one IMO.

The series is out on Blu Ray, but I'm not going to buy it. I'm not gonna pay for a Blu Ray that doesn't have lossless audio.

Yes it is,but they left out the part that after the end of it all it ripped open the space time continuum and it keeps happening over and over...........

Looks like MI:4 will become, at the minimum, a $500 million worldwide hit. It may even have a chance at $600 million.

Amazon is asking me to buy this as a pre-order on BD. Is it worth the $22 price?

+1 Great movie. When Tom Cruise isn't being crazy in real life, his action movies are always fun. I'll probably pick this one up on blu-ray too.

It was definitely the best of the mission impossible series, especially brilliant in Imax. I look forward to trying it out on my system.

Definitely getting this when it's released on bluray. My wife wasn't a fan but I definitely thought it was the best of the series.

Got the Blu-ray a day early (thanks, Amazon!) and the 7.1 on this does NOT disappoint. Not quite the brutal bass workout that War Horse was, but definitely uses every channel to its fullest potential. The sandstorm in Dubai stands out as an incredible use of the audio. And it could just be because I bought an Oppo BDP-93 to replace my BDP-83 while it is off for repairs (which I'll be selling when Oppo sends it back), but this movie looks razor sharp. Reference-quality presentation for both audio and video. If you liked the movie (and how could you not?), this is worth a day one buy.
