Hello guys,
this is very weird and i do not know what is going on so bear with me. i usually use itunes as my media player from my laptop. one day i installed mediamonkey since a lot of people here like it better, i was not one of them, so i unistalled mediamonkey and went back to itunes.
the problem is that for some reason itunes is not getting a los of volume out from the computer, i mean it seems that the itunes software and the soundcard or the volume control are enemies, you can barely hear any difference at any point using the volume control from itunes (you know the little bar). i thought it was the sound card, but opened windows media player and it provides proper volume control and output.
i reintalled itunes just in case it was an update problem or whatnot and did not make a difference.
could somebody please help me out since i like itunes and use it all over the house and cannot enjoy my music at low level volume.
thanks,
eduardo

Never heard of that. You could try reinstalling the audio drivers maybe? If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Silly question. Did you check your wav volume on the computer. It does use the computers volume controls.

Do you get the low volume under all conditions: playing through the internal speakers, using the output from your sound card (both analog and digital output), and streaming to your apple TV?

it is very very strange, hence the reason of my post, it only happens with itunes. right now i am using windows media player and it works like a charm but when i open itunes it sounds very very low.

If you are using Windows, you may have a control panel called volume mixer (depends on version of Windows). Here you can set the volume for some programs independently. Try resetting the volume here for iTunes.
