CS400i question.....
Is this a 3 way system? The reason I ask is that the driver on the left of the cabinet seems to be lacking of any midrange frequencies.....just trying to decide if it's not functioning properly, or this was the way it was designed.
Thanks
Thanks

The two midwoofers do not push the same frequencies. This is on purpose but I can't remember the details. I think its fine.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

Perfectly normal. I asked the same question when I first bought my CS400i. It's not a 3 system but more like a 2.5 way.Display: Sony 42" LCD

could be a cancellation ?comb effect? , problems arise at 400,800 & 1200 hz so they set it up so one wont be at the same point as the other , for example the kef200 does that I its XO point is 400 hz I think one drives 400 and below one 400 and up .
I tried 2 full range centers it sounded bad .
