Help!!!!!

I was just inspecting my RT55's and I noticed one of the tweeters was looking funny
The sound is great so im not sure if this is really even an issue
i know this is probably the wrong place to post this thread but im panicking and need help ASAP
would this tweeter be considered bad? like i said sound is perfect :eek:

    It's ok, one of my Rt800's are like that, it still sounds fine.

    I am conemplating selling my whole rt setup I don't want anybody thinking I'm trying to pull a fast one if I sell with the dome like that.....any clue on how to get replacement casing & possible price

    Call Polk for replacement cost, and let them know you're a club Polk member for a discount.

    Looks like the cap is just pushed in. Try sucking it out with a vacuum cleaner,or put some tape on it and pull it out carefully. Or just leave it be, it won't affect the sound.

    i removed the surrounding so i could get to the dome...and even when i push it into place it goes right back?....
    still sounds great so im not worried

    There was a thread for a repair with a hair dryer in the last week or so...someone post up guys

    Anyway if you decide to push it back out again maybe hold the hair dryer to it an it might hold shape

    Warm it up with a hair dryer and then spray it with one of those compressed air in a can like Wal Mart sells. You have to hold it upside down so it will freeze.

    That's what I found by searching around. I'd be sure sure to follow the OP's advice and know that you can get a replacement first before I try to shock that sucker back into submission. lol
