Harman Kardon AVR 254

For sale is the current record holder for an AVR to remain in my system! It took me a full 15 months to get the itch again!
This unit has tremendous value! Don't let the watts per channel fool you. This 7.1 channel receiver will run a full complement of 8 ohm speakers nicely, but for future expansion and more potential, it has pre-out connections!
Includes remote, manual, and calibration microphone. Missing are the cheapo AM and FM antennas, but I think I could scrounge some up if you're really interested.
I take very good care of my gear. This AVR looks like new. I'm Polkie-pricing this to go at $200. If Paypal, then fees (if any) are your responsibility. You pay actual shipping/insurance costs from 21157. I prefer to ship Fedex, and I have the original packaging to ensure it arrives safely.
Btw, this is a great AVR to pair with RTi series Polks!
Thanks,
Ed

The Harman Kardon AVR 254 is the most affordable Harman Kardon receiver to feature both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio/B] decoding on the audio side, and Faroudja DCDi Cinema video processing to 1080p on the video side. But there's plenty more to recommend the AVR 254, including three HDMI inputs, connections for external amplifiers [pre-outs], EzSet/EQ technology to fine-tune your system to the acoustics of your room, and an RS-232 port for future firmware upgrades. Perhaps the highest recommendation of all? As do all Harman Kardon A/V receivers, the AVR 254 features a high-current, ultrawide-bandwidth design for maximum fidelity. Bridge II is compatible with this model.

$200? Sheesh, steal of the day. It's feature packed and of all the little things I've liked about HK is that cool volume control. I've used a handful of HK AVR's for Surround Bar projects and installations and they're perfect. That's 65wpc of honest power, keep that in mind.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
