Hey guys,
This question is for all the x-over modders out there.
I am about to put in an order at Sonicraft for capacitors to uprgrade the crossovers in my LSI15S and LSIc. My question is wheter there is any benefit to uprgrading bypass caps (not in direct current path) such as the 18uF C3 in the LSIc?? Also, should I employ a bypass cap (.1uF sonicap) if I do not change the 260uF cap??
Thanks alot...
The i was planning to order caps to replace C1 and C2 of the 15's and the center, mills resistors throughout, and some daytons for P.E for the 15's, solder, and some hook-up wire. Anything I am missing.
I will take any pearls of wisdom you have to offer in regards to this project. I plan to start with the LSIc to get me warmed up.
:)

To the small values, no. To the 260uf, yes.

Should I ignore capacitors that arent in the direct current patch (caps that connect from the positive lead to the negative lead prior to the driver (bypass))?
