Hello Everyone,
Well, after what feels like an eternity, I finally own a pair of Polk Audio 1.2TL speakers. Many, many thanks go out to Mr. Russ Abernathy of Georgia. Russ is a very honest, patient, and accomodating gentleman, who literally went the extra mile this weekend in selling me my new monuments. People, like Mr. Abernathy, are what our hobby needs to flourish. Not only did he fairly describe and represent his speakers, Russ organized his schedule arround my last minute shenanigans in order to facilitate our transaction. Thanks again for everything, Russ!

Very Sincerely,
Aero

Aero - Glad to hear that you are now in the club. Russ is a very nice gentleman, with an evil audio bent ;)
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Good job Aero, hang onto those bad boys.

Russ, Jesus Christ man, some people don't see but MAYBE 1 pair of 1.2's in their lifetime (that they can aquire).

What was this - your EIGTH pair?

    Cheers,
    Russ

    Congrats Aero,
I too waited for what seemed like eternity for my 1.2TL's which I bought from a great club member as well. There really are many honest, humorous and knowledgable folks in this club and considering all of the **** going down in the world around us, this is soothing.
    Regards,
    Dan :D

    Hi Guys,
Thanks for all of the words of welcome. My system will be posted, with pictures, as soon as I locate the final piece of the puzzle.....You guessed it, another pair of 1.2TLs for rear channel support. I am a big (pardon the obvious pun) proponent of a fully matched 5.1 channel system for music listening. I just hope it does not take as long to find this illusive final set of speakers. (If patience is a virtue, then I am a filthly little ****.)
I actively await and solicit my fellow Polk members suggestions, thoughts, and assistance.

    Regards,
    Aero

Well if you've got the money to burn... but IMO that's a waste of a pair of great speakers...

I concur, too good of a speaker to be doing rear duty. Using something like the RTA 15TL or RTA 11TL as rears will perfectly match the 1.2TL's and IMO would be a much better choice. What are you planning to use for a center channel?
