Takes me back 30 years ago. I used to maintain the equipment that did this.
Not quite as advanced as some of this(no surface mount) but the pick and place
and wave solder have been around for a while."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -
Nice video. They have all this equipment in house or is this a contract manufacturer?
Some things I see missing that I typically look for in a CM:
1) No machine vision inspection. Humans are too error prone to catch problems.
2) No bed of nails or flying probe ICT.
3) No functional testing.
BTW, anyone know the music? -
Benchmark says it's going to do some follow-on videos as the DAC goes through the process of being built...
Music...look at 6 seconds into the video.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2
