I went ahead and put down the pre-order online and it might be in tomorrow.
I hope it goes well, I love my EVO 4G and this should be a worthy upgrade.

I'll stick with not playing with any new phones that way I can live in my own little world still telling myself my original Nexus One still does more than I can ask for.

struggles making calls and connecting to the web...you mean everything I use my phone for? No thanks.

Haha yeah I saw the reviews. Most of the time it seems that the errors maybe could be the areas that they mostly live in have bad Sprint coverage. I don't know. I will find out soon enough.

I loved the Nexus One. HTC should build the next nexus not Samsung again.

my current evo 4g has been my most stable pda/phone platform, ever. i'm in no rush to get the evo 3d. if sprint would get service setup here in AZ sometime this century, it'll be like getting a brand new phone in and of itself.

Got my tracking number at midnight pst and it should be in today. I will let you know once I get a chance to play with it if the call quality and radio issues really are there.

Just picked up a Samsung Charge yesterday as my original droid finally died. This thing is big pimpin! Hope the new Evo is for you.

I'm very happy with my EVO 4G, best phone I've ever had by far. Absolutely no interest in a 3d version of it. Just another stupid gimmick.

Oh I love the EVO 4G. The Charge seems like a great phone but I just don't like Samsung. All of the smartphones I have played with of theirs, just seemed plasticky, and the UI on them is not for me.

Do you live in a LTE area?

Sprint doesn't do LTE do they? I live in a Sprint 4G/WiMax area and it's not something I'd consider a selling point. The WiMax is best outside, maybe good if you wanted to watch streaming video on a bus or something, but I've turned 4G on maybe twice in a year and then turned it right back off again because speed was not much better than 3G. AT&T is actually pretty good up here and when they get LTE more fully deployed I'm thinking it might be worth switching. Love my Evo 4G tho. I'm thinking it'd be hard to find something I like much better.
