Help me spend my money!!

I have LSi15, LSiC and LSiFX set. Upgrading to a use Parasound 2205a and my current 5.1 receiver is pretty old with no HDMI inputs even. I posted a few months ago actually and you guys recommended this amp and it look me this long to find one for a decent price.

I would like to get a preamp, either dedicated or receiver. Looking at spending around $300. Prefer new but if I would get something of quality and better used then that's great.

Was looking at the HK avr364 but not sure if there is anything better. I mostly used my self for TV and movies, occasional music. I will be needing at least 3 HDMI inputs.

I'm not sure what's honestly available out there and looking to get some recommendations.

Thanks!

So, you need an AVR with preouts. HK has refurb deals in online HK store. But pairing with Parasound, I would look a decent AVR and spend a little more than 300 for a new or used AVR.

Can anyone offer an suggested avr or preamp. Sorry if I wasn't clear but I'm looking for model suggestions. The power rating doesn't really interest me (if we're talking about avr) since I have a dedicated amp.

I want good video upscaling, sound fidelity, airplay/pandora via wireless would be nice as well but unnecessary.

I was looking at the Marantz sr5005 yesterday, any thing else you guys would recommend?

Going to be hard to find anything new with those features for 300, especially with pre outs and a 12v trigger. I am happy with the Pioneer in my signature and there is a VSX23 on Audiogon for 350 which would do everything you want. I demoed the LSiM 703 in my system and to me it lacked nothing sound wise.

Now, we are talking but for another $100-$200, you can get this. And with this, you may be good to go for another 3-5 yrs without an upgrade. If you are interested in this, try making a reasonable offer and the seller might sell it to you for lower price than Buy It Now.

You might even not need Parasound amp since ICE amps in Pioneer Elite is said to have enough current for the LSi. Having said that, I would still keep the Parasound and use it. I like the Parasound + LSi combo myself.

Alternatively, I would check out Yamaha RX-V series and Onkyo TS-R series for around $700.
