DVDReview is wrong, Disney just anounced a 12/2 release date a week back or so. I'd love to own it sooner, but it won't happen. It's still in theaters.

    Here's the specs:

    3 Audio Commentaries:
-Director Gore Verbinski and Star Johnny Depp
-Producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Stars Keira Knightley and Jack Davenport
-Writers Stuart Beattie, Ted Elliot & Terry Rossio and Jay Wolpert

An Epic At Sea: The Making of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

    Deleted Scenes

    "Moonlight" Scene Progression

    Image Gallery

    Blooper Reel

Below Deck: An Interactive History Of Pirates

The DVD is in 2.35:1 aspect ratio, enhanced for 16x9 screens, and includes Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. Also available are a French language soundtrack and subtitles.

This movie screams for a dts track. Even though one's not listed, I hope it will be added. There's still time.

    Peace Out~:D

Yeah, it DOES seem too early, doesn't it? Maybe DVD Review meant DECEMBER 7, or perhaps it is 12/2. In either case, it's too late! :)

Johnny Depp looks way to cool in the next new movie "One upon a time in Mexico", I can't wait for the DVD to be released but have to stand in line for the early bird show...:)

It is still in theaters and doing quite well.

Last I saw, it was closing in on the 300 million mark. It's still in the top 10. Pretty damn good!
    No excuses!

I found that the Underwater Pendant Nuke is about 4db louder on the DTS track, versus the DD track.
