I have decided and started to go all digital with my 600 ish CD's. I plan to sell about 80 percent of them and was wondering how you would suggest to sell them and get the most decent return. I don't necessarily want to take them to Best buy and get a nickle each album. How do you guys do it? I have considered listing the on a'gon as a lot. Is that my best chance? If i cold seriously get 200 bucks for them id be happy. I just dont want the slap in the face bb would give me.

Thanks for your thoughts,

Logan

    I knew that was coming.

There have been a number of people who have sold a few hundred CDs on this very site! You'd just need to make a list and wait it out. You'd certainly make more than 2 or 3 dollars a CD if they're in good shape. A LOT more than you could make selling them in bulk!

Or, perhaps you could cut a deal with George Grand who sells tons of Vinyl for a charitable cause. Maybe he'd buy you out in bulk and then list the titles here for purchase. Although I don't think I've seen George sell CDs. It would be for a good cause and you'd surely get your 200 for that?

Here's one last thought for ALL OF YOU. Why don't we 'buy' logo896 out and 'donate' our purchase to George Grand for sale here? Everybody wins and we raise money for a good cause!

I would think the best way to sell them as a lot would be to make a list available to potential buyers upon request. I might even be interested depending on the selection.

Most potential buyers will no doubtedly have some of them already though. The percentage they have will probably be the determining factor as to whether they decide to buy the entire lot of not.

Do the same thing I did, make a list and offer the lot up. I ended up selling around 300 or so CDs to basically 2 guys on here.

Biggest problem Logo has selling them here is that he has less than 100 posts

    Good catch!

So, stick around, learn a few things, share some, make some new friends and those CDs will disappear overnight when the time comes!
