exactly ...and the stern words from mom.."Wait until your dad gets home" That wait was the worst because you knew you were getting the belt when he got home.....sometimes not but that wait......was the worst. -
Parenting is a test of patience and endurance.
While I was in my teens I thought I had the strongest patience ever seen , but a few kids later that level has grown much thinner .
Any perent out there knows this well , and if they think they are just as patient WELL they are just lying to them self .
I often wonder just how many people replied to my "polk nightmare" actually have kids or were like me (20 years ago) and full of awnsers , its nice to see a lot of the readers here got a great head on their shoulders -
Well i have 2 both boys 14 and 22 been there and done that. I also help at the schools for them and i have seen the time out kids and talked to the teachers and principals who wish they could do more than time out for these kids WHO know that and let them know that YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME for any reason. We had a teacher who had problems with one kid she told him to go to the office, he told her where to go if you catch my drift. She proceeded to grab him by the arm to escort him to the office. The kid used his cell phone to call his parents who promptly came with the cops and had her arrested for assult and battery. She no longer can teach because she now has a record....It's a fine world we live in.....

Funny, when I was three, I stuck a pen into the tweeters of both of my father's speakers. Now I'm 43, and he may have forgiven me by now...Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

You may be right , I guess I just wanted to warn polk lovers about this , and in the polk forumn I thought it was fitting . I didnt expect all that perenting info to show up , I am a speaker builder who takes pride in quality . -
I only had one child out of 6 mess with my gear. He was only 3 at the time. He turned the volume knob on my receiver all the way around to full volume with the receiver off. My wife comes along some time later and turns on the receiver. Well, it blew the receiver and the both the tweeters in my RTA15tl's.
