Have any of you guys ever picked up a pop corn machine, if so where would you suggest I pick one up at? Out here there is no where to get one. Also any advice on hanging a projector from a finished ceiling? Thanks.

Do a Google Search for "Home Theater Accessories," there are quite a few places to get them and the prices vary greatly. As for projector mounts, try the manufacturer of the projector you wish to mount (snicker, snicker) or you could also look at at www.projectus.com , www.projectorpeople.com, and of course www.pricegrabber.com

    Here's a pic of my $12 mount.11_44_thumb.jpg

All the cables run through the 1.5" pipe into the ceiling. Next up is to add an outlet at the top of the mount so I don't have to run the power cord through the same conduit as the component cables.

    Peace Out~:D

How did you run the cables to the projector from your gear? What I thought about is this-- I got the mount from Sony, my projector is the VPL VW12HT, so I think I can run some lag bolts through the bracket into the studs in the ceiling and then the other 2 holes use some heavy duty anchors- like the ones that spread when there screwed in. They can hold 75 pounds each, the projector is 17.5 pounds and Sony said make sure you add 4 times the weight to that. Then I thought about using some wire raceways to hide the wire all they way- about 25 ft to the gear rack. You said you didn't want to run the power cord with the component cables-- any reason why? Anyway, thanks.
